Manicotti with Cheese

12 manicotti shells
1 pound of ricotta or pot cheese
1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
7 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of parsley flakes
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
3 cups of marinara sauce
1/2 cup of water

Cover manicotti shells with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes. drain; rinse in cold water.
Combine ricotta, mozzarella and 4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese; add parsley flakes, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, mixing well.
Place marinara sauce and water in medium saucepan. Heat on low while stuffing manicotti.
Preheat oven to 375
Stuff each manicotti shell with 1/3 to 1/2 cup cheese filling. Pour 3/4 cup marinara sauce into bottom of 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Place stuffed noodles on top of sauce; top with remaining sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes longer.
Remove from oven and serve.
